My name is Ella. I am a model, performer and linguist living in Montreal.

I was injured in a kitchen accident when I was 4 years old. Since then I have had hypertrophic and keloid scar tissue on approximately one third of my skin's surface. Click here to read the story of my accident.

I started modelling in the year 2000. I have worked with several excellent photographers, among them Hans Neleman, Andrew Law, and Jerome Abramovitch, and I have been the subject for photos featured in exhibits, posters and magazines. One photo taken by Hans Neleman will appear in the book Body Transformed by Neleman & Lukas Zpira.

In 2002 I began performing in burlesque and cabaret shows, both solo and with groups. My shows usually incorporate dance and fire retention displays, but may also involve singing, acting, traditional burlesque, and comedy. I have performed in the Coral Lees' Cotton Candy Cabaret and Spring Roll Revue, the Fluffgirls' Peepshow, and in the Victory Burlesk festival in Toronto in May 2004, as well as numerous private appearances.

In 2003 I was filmed as a subject for the series Kink III, made by Paperny Films. This series aired on Showcase and other cable channels during the summer of 2004.

I currently live and work in Montreal, but I am also available for out of town bookings.
